Bad Weather

In the event of poor weather conditions resulting in the closure of the school, the following will apply:

• Poor weather preventing children/staff from getting to school – Three Counties Radio/Chiltern Radio FM will be informed and the school will be included in their bulletins of closed schools.  The radio stations have asked that parents do not ring them directly but listen to the bulletins. We will also endeavour to post information on our website.
• Poor weather resulting in the closure of the school during the school day – all parents will be contacted and children will stay with staff until they can be collected.

We will try to keep you informed but as you can appreciate the decision to close the school needs to be made early enough to prevent unnecessary journeys, as our priority is the safety and well-being of your children and the staff.
