CHRISTMAS BAZAAR

The Christmas Bazaar held recently was a huge success. We would like to thank the following people who donated raffle prizes:

Cineworld Cinemas, City Limits Bowling MK, Dog & Badger Pub Maulden, Flitwick Leisure Centre, Kids World Bedford, Pesca Beauty Ampthill, Staples Office Supplies, The Spectator Wine Bar London, Tescos, TGI Fridays, Thurleigh Farm & Adventure Playground, Boots.

FUN RUN

Our annual sponsored fun run took place recently. All the children took part and were encouraged to run as many laps as they felt able in the time. Unfortunately we had to stop the event 10 minutes early as the rain began to make the grass slippy. However all the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we raised £289 which will go towards the benefit of the children. Thank you to everyone who sponsored or helped in any way.

SANTA's GROTTO

The GSA will once again be supporting Santa's Grotto at Poplars Nursery on Sunday 29th November. This is a highly profitable opportunity, last year raising approximately £400. This year the grotto will include reindeer, meerkats and goats, so it is anticipated that takings will be even higher! Please support this event and take your children along to see Santa and his Elves!

SANTA's SECRET SHOP

This will take place during December. As yet we do not have a definite date. Cost per gift will be £3. Chidren may wish to purchase more than one gift.

CHRISTMAS BAZAAR

The Bazaar will take place on Friday 4th December from 3.30 to 5pm in the school hall. We are looking for help with stalls and donations so please contact Deb Green if you can help in any way.

PAPER CHAIN

The children will soon be coming home with paper chain kits for which they pay £1. Once they are finished they will be used to decorate the school. The chains will be cut towards the end of term and the child whose link is cut will win a small prize.

The GSA have confirmed that they will donate £150 to each class for Christmas presents this year. They are investigating the possibility of funding a minibus for the school - more information to follow.
