Performance
Ofsted viewed Pulloxhill Lower School at its last inspection as outstanding! Everyone involved with the school was extremely proud of the report. A few quotes are shown below.
The latest report in 2008 can be viewed by clicking here.
“The school's self-evaluation is accurate in judging that its overall effectiveness is outstanding. One key strength is the federation that has been established with a neighbouring lower school. This link has brought many benefits that have had a positive impact on teaching and learning, pupils' achievement and on the leadership and management of the school. Expertise among staff has been shared and this has supported the development of teaching extremely well. Pupils' personal development, including their excellent spiritual, moral, social and cultural development, is another strength. Teaching and learning are outstanding and so pupils make excellent progress.”
The school profile report is available here
The School Profile is a new way for schools to report annually to parents. It replaces the Governors' Annual Report. All schools use the same simple format, designed to provide information about the school's performance and its broader achievements, both in and beyond the classroom.
The School Profile is intended to give parents the information they need to understand the school's performance, strengths and areas for improvement.
Each Profile contains the following information:
- the school’s successes
- details of extra-curricular activities
- health and safety information
- the school's response to the latest Ofsted report
